Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TherapyConnect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

Use of the Platform

TherapyConnect is provided as a clinical decision support tool designed to assist licensed clinicians in their practice. It is not a replacement for licensed clinical judgment, professional responsibility, or direct clinical care. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the licensed practitioner.

You agree to use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing your clinical practice and licensure.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Intellectual Property

All content, materials, software, and services provided through TherapyConnect, including but not limited to program libraries, treatment templates, and clinical resources, are the intellectual property of True Potential or licensed partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service, non-payment, or as required by law. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be immediately revoked.

Privacy Policy

What Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use TherapyConnect:

• Account Information: Name, email address, license number, and practice details
• Session Data: Notes, assessments, and clinical records you enter into the system
• Usage Information: Pages visited, features used, and login times (for security and service improvement)

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

• Providing and improving the TherapyConnect service
• Responding to your support requests
• Ensuring platform security and detecting fraud
• Sending you service updates and important notices

Your data is never sold to third parties. We do not share clinical information with external vendors, advertisers, or partners without your explicit written consent.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for three (3) years following account closure. After this period, all personal and clinical data is permanently deleted from our systems.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a complete copy of your personal data in a portable format
• Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Update or correct inaccurate information
• Contact us with privacy questions or concerns

Cookies

We use session cookies only to maintain your login session and provide platform functionality. We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may limit platform functionality.

Data Security

Encryption in Transit

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS (Transport Layer Security). This prevents interception of sensitive information over the internet.

Password Hashing

All passwords are hashed using bcrypt, an industry-standard cryptographic hashing algorithm. Even we cannot access your password in plaintext.

Protected Health Information (PHI)

No Protected Health Information is stored in plain text on our systems. All clinical data is encrypted at rest and is accessible only to your authorized account.

Server Location

TherapyConnect servers are located in the European Union, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other European data protection regulations.

Regular Security Audits

We conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities. We maintain industry-standard security practices and certifications.
